Chamber Ambassadors

What is a Chamber Ambassador?


Ambassadors can perform a wide variety of duties in the Chamber, but their main function is to represent and help promote the Chamber, welcome New Members to the Chamber and assist the board in making Chamber events successful and enjoyable for everyone. They are a dedicated group of special people who volunteer their time. Chamber Ambassadors serve in a public relations capacity and act as a welcoming and supportive liaison between the Chamber and member businesses at events or meetings. Pell City Chamber Ambassadors are volunteers in good standing from our local community and also act as good will representatives related to these special and social events.

This is a great opportunity to help out and give back to your community, in addition to showing your community pride. Some of the activities our Chamber Ambassadors are requested to do include:
•Message, call, mail or visit new and existing members to encourage involvement in the events offered by the Chamber. (BAH, Awards Meeting, Stakeholders, etc.)
•Periodically assist as co-hosts with Board Members at social functions, making attendees feel welcomed.
•Participate (when able) in Groundbreaking Ceremonies, Grand Openings and Ribbon Cuttings and New Member Presentations
•Participate in Business After Hours.
•Volunteer at various annual events and/or meetings hosted by the Chamber. (Block Party, Christmas Parade etc.)•Share posts and upcoming events from the Chamber Social Media platforms.
•Recommend businesses/individuals to become new Chamber members with the New Chamber Reward Program.
•To attend Ambassador Committee meetings.
